Dear Professor Green and Mel, I just wanted to say thank you to both of you and AIL for all of your help, encouragement, teaching, and guidance. I am so happy to say that I passed the Feb. 2021 CA Bar Exam. I truly could not have done it without you and AIL! Thank you for all that you do for your students. I recommend AIL to anyone who tells me they are thinking about going to law school and will continue to do so. Thank you!! – Hannah A.

I am happy and proud I chose AIL for my law studies. I find AIL to be like a hidden gem. On the one hand, I want to hide and keep it to myself, but on the other, I’m proud and want to show others its beauty and value. A welcomed relief I found, is that AIL defied the cliché, “you get what you paid for,” because the overall quality, value and curriculum of the school far exceeded my expectation relative to the low cost of tuition. The school is run like a finely oiled machine, by President, (Prof) Ed Green and Vice president, Mel Morrison, both who are highly skilled and exceptional professionals, who are passionate about their work and roles in the school. That passion, discipline and structure translates to a highly effective and successful program where I am learning, growing, gaining the necessary skills, tools and mastery to be a confident, viable contender in the field of law. – Franklin F.

American Institute of Law is the best decision I’ve made in my legal education journey. They provide a highly disciplined program that builds a very strong legal foundation. The academic support in learning legal theory and legal writing is the number one reason I gained so much success and confidence early on. Responsive Professors, administration and support staff make it clearly evident how committed they are to student success. My experience has been an incredible value and completely enjoyable. I have more school pride than I ever imagined and studying alongside great classmates inspires me every day to reach my goals.  – Dan A.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve had an interest in debate, law and medicine/nursing, and always knew I would work in a “helping” profession. Nursing turned out to be the most concrete of the professions, especially as I ’ve always been drawn to working with certain groups: the military and/or the marginalized and vulnerable populations. I’ve been fortunate to be able to experience a variety of nursing settings but my favorite was my work as a nurse practitioner in prison. While working in prison, my interest in the law was reignited and I’m finally in a place where I can go to law school.
I spent a lot of time doing a lot of research on the variety of online law schools and kept coming back to the AIL website. I was attracted to American Institute of Law for several reasons. The first, obviously, was a dynamic website that piqued my interest in learning more, and the more I learned, the more confident I became that this school would be a good fit for me. The second reason segues right into the first–I learn best doing one thing at a time, and AIL was the only school I found that taught one class at a time. And the third was the necessity of taking the “baby bar.” Instead of looking at the baby bar as a chore, I look at it as an opportunity to practice for the general bar exam. The more preparation, the
better! – Abbe S.

American Institute of Law’s Ed Green and Mel Morrison rescued me from a failing law school and what was turning out to be a career destroyer. Consequently, I was the first graduate of AIL and will be forever grateful for my education and their assistance! Their passion for the study of law, as well as the support and quality they provide to their students is above reproach. They are absolutely committed to student success! You just can’t beat the quality, cost effective education.—Jamie K.

Affordable legal education with structured learning, rigorous curriculum and well qualified & experienced professors. The program itself is well designed in that it covers one substantive law area per week and unlike traditional brick & mortar law schools, it’s teaching pedagogy is geared towards trying to help students pass the bar rather than just hammering in on the “case method “socratic style.”  – Lawrence L.

Happily for me, AIL has all I need for the finest, proper, legal education, with leaders in whom I see such strong dedication, skill and proficiency tutoring our scholastic success and overseeing all elements of our education and at an unbelievably great price. I find the format, structure and multifaceted teaching approach of AIL to be the best enriched environment one can find today bar none. The number one reason I chose AIL is they embraced me, involved me and have stayed with me through every step as a personal friend and advisor. At AILI know I’m part of something much bigger and more inspiring than any one person. I know I’m not alone. – Greg N.

American Institute of Law has provided me grand opportunity while raising a family and working full-time in far west Texas. El Paso is a professional education desert. At AIL, I can login to my resources and classes online from anywhere. AIL Administration and Faculty are always accessible and communicate at high frequency. I’m an executive with four kids. My wife and children are my why. American Institute of Law is my how – Philip W.

I am grateful to God for Mr. Mel Morrison and Prof. Green..for how caring and passionate they are about the study of law & the students at AIL I also love the law and the study of law. I love the fact that I have been afforded this opportunity to learn how to be an articulate, caring and educated law advocate. If your looking for an affordable, California Bar accredited law school with caring personnel who care if you make it or not, look no further, because you have found a home here at AIL! –  Aquesha W.

By a stroke of luck, I was introduced by a friend to the American Institute of Law, Inc., and very effectively received the “tour” from Mr. Mel Morrison along the decision-making process. Having been through the rigors of online law studies for a number of months, I felt an advantage of having a better tolerance of the complex intermingling of law studies, full-time day job and family life. With a bird’s eye view of the American Law Institute’s structure showing the school administration’s impressive qualifications and clearly laid-out system and policies that, to me, exude a holistic “open-arms” schooling environment, I am positive that this facilitated learning experience would enable me to achieve my intended goals. With persistent desire and well-directed hard work, law students in my similar situation could tremendously benefit from this well-thought out vision of online legal education. – Marissa M.

Choosing AIL as my Law school has been the best decision I’ve made in terms of which distance law school I would attend. Professor Green is not only just a practicing attorney that just so happens to teach law courses, he has the experience of knowing what to study as a former bar exam grader, what it takes for you to master the subjects, and firmly establishes upon you the skills needed for you to think like an attorneys should think. Mel Morrison, the Vice President and Director of Admissions has has taken an active role in my academics and is there when I need him the most. Mr. Morrison constantly sends messages of inspiration to never give up and to keep pushing forward. I’m truly honored to be attending AIL knowing that I’m being taught by professors not just with experience but who have helped form the standards on legal education. – David S.

Everyone knows that law school is tough–factor in family and work and it feels impossible. American Institute of Law cuts through the law school mystique that you must give up everything to study law. On the contrary, a flexible, affordable program is available through American Institute of Law that allows me to be a mother, wife and business owner while pursuing my passion—all things that will make me a better attorney. If you are considering law school and want to be part of a progressive program that marries technology with teaching, integrity and innovation, this school is for YOU! Plus, the Admin and Professors at this school pull all of this off with regular and continuous encouragement – B.F.

I have chosen American Institute of Law (AIL). I have made a deep, heart-felt commitment to realizing my dream of becoming an attorney. I believe perseverance will be my best friend strategically speaking because I know it will be difficult and challenging at times. But I also know that, for me, the long-term rewards will far outweigh the short-term challenges. I have researched many law schools and have chosen AIL because, among other reasons, I really like the delivery method. I am eager to participate in live sessions and interact with faculty and peers. Additionally, while finances alone are not a sole factor here, it certainly weighs into the mix. I feel like what I will receive from AIL will be worth far, far more than the nominal tuition charges. I am grateful for that. I am most eager to begin my path with AIL  – Tim C.

I am a first year law student at the American Institute of Law. And all I can say is it’s been an amazing experience. For someone like myself who decided to go to law school later in my life, I have this program to be exceptional. Professor Ed Green is amongst the best teachers I have ever had the pleasure to be a student of. He is not only through in his teaching, his style is personable and he truly explains the subject matter in a way that makes it very understandable. And Mel Morrison has been so incredibly helpful to me in guiding me through the application process and always being there to answer any questions I may have and to provide and encouraging supportive atmosphere for all the students. There is so much more I can say but for now, I am so happy I chose the American Institute of Law and look forward to my continued studies with them. – T.H.

This is the school you attend if you want to learn the law. They teach the subject matter in an organized fashion, not like a traditional law school. They really care about you as a person, and will go above and beyond if you have a situation that needs attention. I was able to pass the first year law exam after being enrolled in a school with these professors. The assignments and lessons are all done in a concise and predictable manner, and you can study at your own pace. So much better than having to go to live classes. All I can say is try it and I know you will be satisfied and successful. – C.V.

American Institute of Law does provide a one-on-one training that is absent in other law schools. The Tuition is affordable, and I was also given a grant. The Support is excellent, and I really appreciate the self-pace environment as law course-work is loaded. Thank you AIL – E.I.

Folks, this school represents an incredible opportunity. Certainly always investigate your options to become fully informed; but I am sure you will agree that the American Institute of Law will prove to be your best option and approach for obtaining a Law School education. Ask for Mel Morrison. He is a very polished professional, very successful, a kind man and a very caring human being focused on helping you to accomplishyour higher level educational dreams and optimize your wisdom during your journey! Go for it. I highly recommend it. – T.D.

AIL is a world-class competitive, convenient, and affordable online law school. The school’s administrators and faculty are excellent, accommodating and very personable–and whose collective effort to help the working student to earn a valuable legal education is so inspiring. Like my many enthusiastic co-students, I highly recommend AIL as the finest choice for those ready to embark on this online journey. – M.M.

I have been attending AIL for the past few years. Professor Green’s passion of teach had made my education so easy and fun. Attending live lectures and going back to the archives had made my learning experience less complicated. Mr. Morrison is a very professional and caringperson. He made my application process so smooth and less complicated. I highly recommend AIL. The founders are very honest people. Not to mention tuition fees are so affordable in compares to other law schools. Education is the only thing no one can take from us. Go for it! – A.S.

As a husband and father; there is nothing more important than taking care of my family. Having the ability to have a flexible school schedule makes the dream of becoming a lawyer a reality – something I could not do without out the help of AIL. The academic delivery is probably the most important aspect – I am able to download lectures and review them over and over again. The best part – when I am Practicing, I won’t have a student loan to repay!!! This school is top notch, cutting edge, and a model for others to follow. – J.W.

The reason why I have chosen the American Institute of Law to attend their Juris Doctrine courses online is because after reviewing their course descriptions, it brought great interest in me that on the first year of law school, you will be taking a course in introduction to law, legal research and writing, and first year review. This is something that was not going to be offered at the other online law school I was going to attend. Also, this school is affordable and most of all, the Director of Admissions, Mr. Melvin Morrison was very patient in answering all my questions and gave me ease of mind when I was becoming skeptical and overwhelmed about attending AIL, a normal feeling every student goes through. hank you, Mr. Morrison. – M.S.

I am overwhelmed (in a good way!) with the work that Mel Morrison has put into furthering my education. I am so grateful that I am able to come on board with AIL and I look forward to getting the ball rolling. – B.F.

Going to law school has always been a dream for me until I met Mel Morrison. I have had various obstacles and barriers that prevented me from pursuing my law degree until I encountered Mr. Morrison. Both Mr. Morrison and Mr. Green are as passionate and supportive of my education and success as I am. My dream of getting my law degree has now become a reality thanks to Mr. Morrison. – S.S.

My decision to continue my study of law at American Institute of Law was based on several factors. My experience with traditional brick and mortar schools and other correspondence schools has shown me how those schools operate in their instruction of its students. The teaching methodology of American Institute of Law coupled with the involved instructional style was a big determining factor to why I decided to enroll at American Institute of Law. As I continue my law school education at American Institute of Law, I believe that my ability to focus on one subject at a time as I progress through the academic year will contribute to my success in the program. Furthermore, I believe that my ability to work more closely with professors will be a valuable asset to me throughout my course of study. – N.G.

I use to believe the only way I could pursue a quality law education was attend a qualified traditional law school every day; listen and be prepared to be called upon by the professor and recite cases that I would spend a lot of time reading and researching. I was wrong! With the computer technology and remote access at my disposal, I have been given the opportunity to pursue a quality and qualified law education through the new program offered online by the American Institute of Law (AIL). AIL has taken the traditional method of law school and made it possible to learn and interact with the professors and students through live lectures and the use of update-to-date casebooks. AIL has also taken learning a step further by implementing their program so that I can attend the live online lectures and/or watch archive lectures any time and anywhere. This is great for me because I work full-time and it is conducive to my personal life and work schedule so that I will never ever have to miss and/or be late to a class again. Thank you to the American Institute of Law and their staff. – G.M.

After deciding it was time to “level up” and become a licensed attorney. My work life has been primarily centered around the legal field assisting attorneys with post-judgment asset locating, skiptracing, and I’ve always had a desire to practice law myself but with family life balanced with work efforts – it can be a tough thing to accomplish. Fortunately, I found AIL which allows for flexibility in the field of study that greatly compliments my lifestyle. The technology employed by the school allows for a immersed experience carried out at your own pace. They have a wonderful online system that serves as the “hub” for your learning and allows collaborative conversation with the students and staff. Their responsiveness to questions far exceeds my expectation and likely is more than you would get from a brick and mortar environment. It’s clear the goal is to prep us for the FYLSE and the General Bar, and from what I’ve seen so far, these experienced attorneys will get me there. If you are self motivated, can discipline yourself, find yourself time and budget constrained, and have a goal of becoming a attorney.

The American Institute of Law is the best place to acquire top notch legal training. The format of the first year’s study is a God send, and fully prepares the students for the FYLSE (“baby bar”). I have experienced different educational environments and AIL far surpasses them all. The dream team (Mel and Ed) have come together to create my dream law school. I love my program, my instructors and I love how the program is structured to fit my budget. It’s as if this is my personal law degree program. I love love love this school and couldn’t recommend it enough! – T.F.

On Becoming a Lawyer: Involvement in advocacy was an integral part of my life.  Lawyering, for me, would be an extension and enrichment of advocacy. It would provide a tool for me to help others problem-solve in their own behalf: At this time the legal process can be used to give people hope and a way forward from overwhelming economic, sociological, and personal devastation. Ideally, the law balances the rights of particular groups and individuals so that all are served.

In particular, the American Institute of Law is able and ready give an older student what he or she needs to help others evaluate situations and offer them possible solutions in a timely, appropriate and comprehensive manner. The preparation offered by the American Institute of Law is thorough and tailored to each student: The student testimonials outline how attending the American Institute of Law spurred their overall development…a situation which can only benefit their future clients. In addition, students are encouraged to support and learn from each other as well as from staff.

Although law school study is rigorous, the sample lectures are clear and absorbing and I felt as if I were listening to a good audiobook that I couldn’t shut off. The rigors of the program and the code of conduct are clearly detailed in the school catalog. All in all, I think the American Institute of Law would be a step in the right direction. – A.S.
