STUDENT STUDY LOG INSTRUCTIONS

  • CALIFORNIA BAR STUDY LOG REQUIREMENT  The California Bar has stressed its requirement that all students maintain a current and ultimately completed log of their archived/live lecture attendance and school-related activities. There is no live lecture attendance requirement.  However, this study log must be completed.
  • USER FRIENDLY Rather than having each student create and maintain a diary of activities, I have created a very simple and easy to use study log. Simply enter your Name and Student ID in the blue highlighted areas. Enter your estimated minutes/hours in the day of the week and specific activity.
  • TIME TRACKING After times (Minutes/Hours) are entered, the log will automatically update the daily, weekly and annual total time and completion percentage.
  • DUE DATES All students are required to turn in a copy of their up-to-date study logs prior to the final exam date(s) or as specified by your professor. Student must submit the entire completed signed study log in one of the following methods: (1) email to mailto:[email protected] and CC [email protected]; (2) fax to 888-657-1895; (3) mail to American Institute of Law, 18411 Crenshaw Boulevard, Suite 416, Torrance, CA 90504-5066.
  1. After downloading your desired template, please ENABLE EDITING from within Microsoft Excel.
  2. Simply enter Name and Student ID in the the dark grey highlighted areas
  3. Please change the first date of your current class. Example 11/06/2021

  5. Areas in which information can be added or modified include the following: Name, Start of course, Hours/Minutes of Activities, Digital Signature and Date Signed. All other areas are locked.
