CALIFORNIA COMMITTEE OF BAR EXAMINERS – STARTING OVER FORM
if you are a registered law student with the Committee of Bar Examiners, you may request to be allowed to start your law studies over. You understand that you will receive absolutely no credit for any law studies that you have completed prior to the date that you restart your law studies.
TRANSCRIPT REQUEST FORM
To obtain an official copy of your official transcript, please complete one request for each copy requested. Please include the mailing address for each copy.
MISDEMEANOR-FELONY DISCLOSURE STATEMENT
When applying for admission, the student also acknowledges that his/her eligibility to take the California General Bar Exam is entirely dependent on the decision of the Committee of Bar Examiners which is based entirely on a variety of factors including the type of criminal conviction(s) and the rehabilitation steps that the student has taken.
LEAVE OF ABSENCE PETITION
To submit your leave of absence, please briefly state the reason for your request. WITHDRAWAL PETITION
To submit your withdrawal petition, please briefly state the reason for your request. You must also physically date and sign your request. E-Signatures, are not acceptable. You may provide notice to the Director of Admissions by email [email protected] or Registrar by email [email protected] or by fax at 888.657.1895 or by U.S.P.S. Certified Mail, addressed to: Registrar, American Institute of Law, 18411 Crenshaw Boulevard, Suite 416, Torrance, CA 90504-5066. You will be notified as soon as your petition has been received.
CANCELLATION PETITION
A student who intends to cancel or withdraw must notify the law school in writing following the directions outlined in the law school catalog. Any money due the student will be refunded within 30 days. The student has a right to a full (100%) refund of all monies and fees paid except the application fee if a cancellation is received within seven (7) calendar days after midnight of the date the Enrollment Agreement was signed.
